Our graduation project, BidChain, secured 3rd place among more than 250 computer science graduation projects from across Saudi Arabia in the SheCodes 2022 Competition (opens in a new tab).
This achievement meant a lot to us, not only because of the result itself, but because of everything that came with the experience. Preparing the project, presenting it, and taking it through the competition helped us grow in many ways. It strengthened our leadership, teamwork, and presentation skills, and gave us a deeper understanding of the project itself.
We were also excited to see BidChain featured on Bitcoin News (opens in a new tab), where the project and its innovative approach were highlighted in an article.
What is BidChain?
BidChain is a bidding platform designed to automate and secure the bidding process using blockchain technology. Its goal is to reduce the risk of manipulation and improve trust in the process.
By applying multiple layers of encryption, each bidder is provided with private keys that help protect data integrity and allow bids to be opened securely.
Looking back, BidChain was more than a graduation project. It was a meaningful milestone that gave us the opportunity to turn an idea into a working solution, present it on a national stage, and see it recognized beyond the university.
