I had the opportunity to meet a group of cooperative training students and introduce them to Business Analysis: what the field is, why it matters, and the role a Business Analyst can play throughout the life of a digital project.
Rather than going too deep into frameworks or terminology, I wanted the session to give them a clear and practical first look at the field: how a Business Analyst helps understand the problem, works with stakeholders, structures requirements, and supports teams as an idea moves closer to a real solution.
One of the parts I enjoyed most was preparing the session itself and thinking about how to explain a broad field in a simple way without losing its meaning.
To leave them with something beyond the presentation, I also designed a small Business Analysis brochure summarizing some of the key ideas we discussed, providing a simple takeaway they could keep and revisit later.
It was a short session, but a meaningful one for me. I hope it gave the trainees a clearer picture of the field and perhaps introduced some of them to a path they may want to explore further.
Wishing them all the best as they begin their professional journeys.
